FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Monday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. for the new Cumberland County Employee Childcare Center. Members of the media are invited to attend. The ribbon-cutting will be held at 223 Hull Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303.

WHAT:
The Employee Childcare Center will provide care for the children of Cumberland County employees who need childcare during work hours. The County’s intent is for the facility to provide safe and convenient childcare for staff members, and to serve as a staff recruitment and retention tool to remove access to childcare as a barrier to employment. The Childcare Center will be located in a County-owned facility that has been renovated for this purpose.
