Cumberland County now offers an interactive telephone service that allows customers to pay their utility bills 24/7 in English or Spanish.

Call (910) 621-2120 and have your account number or bill number ready.

Debit and credit card payments are accepted.

Payments are due to the Public Utilities office by 5 p.m. on the 10th of each month and become delinquent thereafter, whereupon the late penalty fee currently in effect will be added to the account.

Collection actions will begin on the 11^th of each month or the next business day thereafter. Accounts delinquent at that time may incur collection fees per the current rate schedule.  If bills are not paid by the 24th of the same month, the County may discontinue service. 

Service will be restored after account balance is paid in full and a $25 reconnection fee is paid.
