September 5	Absentee ballots will be mailed out, no later than 30 days prior to the date of the Municipal Primary Election (Fayettevilly City Only). Voters may request an absentee ballot now. The online portal is open to request a ballot https://votebymail.ncsbe.gov/app/home
September 12	Voter Registration Books Close for Primary
September 18	Early Voting Begins - Primary
September 23	Last Day to request an Absentee ballot to be sent by mail for Primary
September 24	Late absentee requests allowed due to sickness or physical disability, begins 8:00 am for Primary
October 4	Early Voting Ends - Primary @ 3:00pm - Primary
