Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement works to enhance the appearance of our communities and maintain standards of living across Cumberland County. The Code Enforcement section enforces and investigates zoning, minimum housing and junked vehicle complaints. It is also responsible for issuing Zoning Permits and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations.  Code Enforcement Officers promote a healthy and safe environment for citizens and visitors by handling a variety of requests including:

Currently, the Code Enforcement section can assist with all complaints in the unincorporated areas of Cumberland County. Code Enforcement can assist with minimum housing issues only in certain municipalities, please call 910-321-6636 for further information.
