Cumberland Clean Countywide Litter Pick-Up Event

Groups and individuals are invited to help clean up assigned areas of the county. On event days, all participants will receive litter pick-up supplies, a reusable tote, an event T-shirt, water, and hand sanitizer.

Cumberland County Solid Waste launched a countywide litter pickup initiative called Cumberland Clean in early 2021. Volunteers help clean up assigned areas of the county to restore its beauty. Clean-up events are held a couple of times throughout the year.

On event days, all participants will receive a trash bag, reusable litter bag, an event T-shirt, water and hand sanitizer. Once the cleanup is finished, volunteers are asked to leave their bags at their assigned cleanup site. Solid Waste crews will remove them and take them to one of the County’s container sites.
