Work First (CASH)

Work First (CASH) is a statewide initiative that assists families that are in a temporary financial crisis. The Work First program provides supportive services including job training, job placement assistance, retention counseling, child care, and transportation assistance to aid families in achieving self-sufficiency. Substance-abuse treatment and domestic violence counseling are available when needed. Work First provides financial assistance and medical assistance to needy families that meet state and federal requirements.  

AM I ELIGIBLE? 

• You must be a US Citizen or qualified legal immigrant
• You must have at least one child under the age of 18 years living at home
• Each family is assessed based on their individual situation
