COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Ending
The last day for drive-thru COVID-19 testing at Cumberland County Department of Public Health is March 31, 2023. Free At-Home test kits will remain available at the Health Department Information Desk (1st Floor). No appointment needed.
As of May 2023, doctors and labs are no longer required to report COVID cases to the health department in North Carolina. Individuals are not required to report their COVID-19 test results. Facilities licensed through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), such as skilled nursing facilities, must continue to follow CMS requirements for reporting COVID-19 test results.
