FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. –Cumberland County Emergency Services has lifted the burn ban which has been in place since Nov. 30. This became effective at noon on Dec.8.
Residents can monitor the county’s rating for fire danger at https://legacy.climate.ncsu.edu/fwip/nc_danger/ The map is based on a National Fire Danger Rating System parameter describing environmental conditions that could cause fires to ignite and spread.
