Cumberland County Public Library Unveils Memory Kits

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – As part of the Cumberland County Public Library’s (CCPL) ongoing commitment to serve the diverse needs of the community, CCPL is excited to introduce brand-new Memory Kits. These specially designed kits, intended to support caregivers and individuals experiencing memory challenges, are now available for checkout for anyone with valid library card. To obtain a library card, visit any library location and provide a photo ID and proof of a Cumberland County address.

The Memory Kits include various activities that aim to stimulate memory and cognitive functions, offering engaging and supportive resources for those affected by memory challenges. Each of the 15 unique kits features a different theme to spark conversations and reminiscing, fostering meaningful interactions and enhancing quality of life for users.

Introduction of the Memory Kits aligns with CCPL's mission to embrace innovative, traditional and transformational approaches that support, encourage, and engage our diverse community. These kits are a testament to the library’s dedication to supporting the well-being of the community and addressing the diverse needs of those served.
