FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County is issuing a boil water advisory to all Southpoint Water System customers until further notice. Customers should boil water for one minute before using.
A sample from the Southpoint Water System, located in the Gray’s Creek Water and Sewer District, tested positive for E. coli. The County’s Public Utilities Department is flushing the system and will notify customers when the boil water advisory is lifted.
Detailed information is being provided door-to-door to each Southpoint Water System customer today.
