Jul 02, 2019

Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation opened a new splash pad at the Linden Little River Park this morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The park is located at 5010 Loop Rd., Linden.

The splash pad measures 1,000 square feet and is funded by County recreation dollars. The pad is wheelchair accessible and features a Super Splash and Aqua Dome. Future projects at the park include a shade structure, additional playground equipment and an additional parking lot.

“This has been a summer to remember with five splash pads opening in little over a month, all funded by Cumberland County recreation dollars. Linden’s new Splash Pad joins similar facilities in Eastover, Wade, Gray’s Creek and Godwin,” said Commissioner Marshall Faircloth, vice chairman of the Board of County Commissioners.
