FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Government announces the following closures for the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays:
Christmas Closings
County government offices and the court system will close Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 24–26, for the Christmas holiday. This includes all Public Library branches and the County Animal Services facility.
Public Library locations will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23 and remain closed Dec. 24 through Dec. 26.
All Solid Waste locations will close Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25. Landfill and container sites will return to their regular operating schedule Thursday, Dec. 26.
New Year’s Closings
County government offices and the court system will close Wednesday, Jan. 1 for the New Year’s Day holiday. This includes the Ann St. Landfill and container sites, and the Cumberland County Animal Services facility.
All Public Library locations will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31, and will remain closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.
