FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Solid Waste Management is hosting a Cumberland Clean Litter Pick-Up event on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Groups or individuals of all ages are encouraged to participate and clean up litter throughout Cumberland County. Cumberland County Solid Waste employees will then manage the collection and disposal of all trash bags filled by volunteers.
To participate, volunteers are asked to register at cumberlandcountync.gov/cumberlandclean or by emailing Tim Middleton at tmidddleton@cumberlandcountync.gov.
All registered volunteers will receive trash bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, water, an event T-shirt and a reusable bag.

After items are picked up, volunteers may report to their chosen clean-up location.
