The Health Department is closing today at 11 a.m. after the air conditioning stopped working in the building this morning. Patient appointments will be rescheduled.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Department of Public Health at 1235 Ramsey Street is closing today at 11 a.m. after the air conditioning stopped working in the building this morning. Patient appointments will be rescheduled.

County facilities crews are working to address the problem. Additional information will be provided regarding hours of operation for Wednesday.

This closure does not affect WIC offices in Spring Lake and Hope Mills and the Environmental Health offices at the Historic Courthouse on Gillespie Street.
