FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Public Library is accepting applications for its annual Local Authors’ Showcase through Sept. 1. The Local Authors Showcase will be held Oct. 7 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Headquarters Library, located at 300 Maiden Lane, Fayetteville.
Applications will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. For an application or for more information, go to cumberland.lib.nclibguides.com/authors. Complete the form online or print a form and deliver it completed in person at Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane, in Fayetteville.
The Local Authors’ Showcase will give local authors the opportunity to network with other writers and writers’ groups as well as advertise and sell their publications. Headquarters Library is home of the Cumberland County Public Library system’s Local Author Collection, a non-categorized selection of books by local writers. Authors wishing to attend the showcase are encouraged to visit the collection and consider contributing their books.
