Location of Feb.13 Voter ID Seminar Changed To Rand Center

There has been a change in the location of the North Carolina State Board of Elections Voter ID Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. The seminar will be held at the Tony Rand Student Center located at 2220 Hull Rd. on the FTCC campus.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – There has been a change in the location of the North Carolina State Board of Elections Voter ID Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. The Voter ID Seminar will now be held at the Tony Rand Student Center located at 2220 Hull Rd., on the campus of Fayetteville Technical Community College instead of the Neil Currie Building. Staff will post directional signs on the FTCC campus. The Voter ID Seminar is free and open to members of the public.
New North Carolina voter identification requirements were established in November 2023. North Carolina voters are now required to show photo identification in order to vote. Many forms of ID are already accepted including:
- North Carolina driver’s license
- State ID from the NCDMV (also called non-operator ID)
- Driver’s license or non-driver’s license from another state, District of Columbia, or U.S. territory (only if voter registered in North Carolina within 90 days of the election)
- U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport card
- Voter ID card issued by a County Board of Elections
- College or university student ID approved by the State Board of Elections
- State or local government or charter school employee ID approved by the State Board of Elections
- Military ID or Veterans Affair ID
