Board of Elections Needs Precinct Officials for November Election

The Cumberland County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters, both affiliated and unaffiliated, to serve as precinct officials for all 77 polling sites in the upcoming November election and future elections.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters, both affiliated and unaffiliated, to serve as precinct officials for all 77 polling sites in the upcoming November election and future elections. Voters who are registered as Democrat, Republican or unaffiliated are needed to serve as precinct officials.

Precinct official training will be held in September at a date to be determined. The deadline to sign up to serve as a precinct official is Aug. 15, 2024.

Individuals interested in working in early voting must also work election day, Nov. 5, 2024, from 5:30 a.m. until. The Cumberland County Board of Elections is in dire need of precinct officials who live in the Cedar Creek, Eastover, Falcon, Godwin, Grays Creek, Massey Hill, Stedman, Vander, Wade and areas of Fayetteville along Gillespie Street and Owen Drive near the Crown Complex.

Precinct officials will be paid $25 for training and $130 for election day.
