FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County and the City of Fayetteville will operate cooling stations from Tuesday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 24 for residents who do not have access to air conditioning and need a place to get out of the heat.

Cumberland County Department of Social Services Auxiliary Lobby, 1225 Ramsey St.

• Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Masks or face coverings are encouraged for those with preexisting conditions.

Cumberland County Department of Public Health First Floor Lobby, 1235 Ramsey St.

• Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Masks or face coverings are required in some areas and immediately following a COVID-19 infection or close contact. Masks or face coverings are encouraged for those with preexisting conditions.

Cumberland County Public Library, All Locations

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Headquarters Library, Cliffdale Regional and Hope Mills Regional locations only.
