The Health Department will close at noon on Friday, Nov. 8, for a planned emergency preparedness exercise for employees. This closings includes immunizations clinics and WIC offices.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Department of Public Health will close at noon on Friday, Nov. 8, for a planned emergency preparedness exercise for employees. This early closing includes all immunizations clinics, all WIC office locations and Environmental Health offices in the Historic Courthouse.
The purpose of the emergency preparedness exercise is to provide active assailant training for employees. The exercise is a requirement for the N.C. Local Health Department Accreditation benchmarks.
Regular Health Department hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Health Department is located at 1235 Ramsy St., Fayetteville. For more information about the Health Department, go to cumberlandcountync.gov/publichealth.
