FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Government has launched a chatbot software. Ask CCNC is a feature now available on the county website, cumberlandcountync.gov. Cumberland County is among the first counties in North Carolina to implement the chat solution.

Ask CCNC is proficient in 71 languages and will help residents easily find information and answer common questions. The chatbot is designed to make navigating county services convenient by offering interaction with visitors and immediate assistance. Ask CCNC also makes it possible for users to submit service requests and directly contact staff. Residents can visit cumberlandcountync.gov, and click on the Ask CCNC icon located at the bottom right corner of their browser window.

In addition to Ask CCNC, Cumberland County also recently launched the MyCCNCGov mobile application. This application went live July 8, 2024, and empowers citizens to access Cumberland County information with ease. The mobile app can be installed by searching MyCCNCGov in the Apple or Google Play App Stores.

"Cumberland County is committed to making local government more accessible and efficient for our residents,” said Cumberland County Board of Commissioners Chairman Glenn Adams. “With the launch of the chatbot, and the app, we are empowering our community with a tool that provides instant access to county information, ensuring every resident can easily connect with their local government.”
