Community Development (CCCD) invites residents to register for a virtual meeting April 1 at 6 p.m. to ask questions, learn more about funding programs and voice opinions.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Continuing its efforts to enhance citizen participation, Cumberland County Community Development (CCCD) invites residents to register for an upcoming public meeting to ask questions, learn more about funding programs and voice opinions.

The Five-Year Consolidated Plan (Con Plan) is a report that must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The plan outlines the community's available resources and needs. It also establishes goals and strategies that Community Development will implement over the next five years (July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030).

The Annual Action Plan (AAP) lists specific projects that will be undertaken during the 2025 Program Year, beginning July 1, 2025.

Cumberland County encourages residents and agencies to provide feedback on the 2025–2030 Con Plan and AAP. Community Development will host a virtual public meeting on April 1, 2025 at 6 p.m.
