Cumberland County Public Library Welcomes Miller’s Brew to West Regional Library

Nov 26, 2024, 09:57 AM by Diane Rice

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Public Library hosted a key ceremony on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at 4 p.m. to officially welcome Miller’s Brew Coffee Shop to Café West at West Regional Library, located at 7469 Century Circle in Fayetteville.

The symbolic key transfer ceremony marked Miller’s Brew's expansion into Café West, where the business will begin preparing and training for its grand opening in early 2025.

“I’m so thankful to people who believed in us,” said Miller’s Brew owner Kim Molnar. “We are true to our community and true to our mission. We are grateful to the county for their partnership.”

Karl and Kim Molnar opened Miller’s Brew Coffee Shop in February 2023 at 1401 Morganton Rd. in Fayetteville. The non-profit coffee shop employs special-needs teenagers and adults.

“We are thrilled to welcome Miller’s Brew to Café West,” said Assistant County Manager and Library Director Faith B. Phillips. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact this collaboration will have as we continue to serve our residents in innovative and meaningful ways.”

“I am proud to support partnerships like the one with Miller’s Brew,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman Glenn Adams. “Government can light the fire, but it’s the community that sustains the flame. This collaboration addresses the vital need for employment training and job opportunities in our community, helping ensure that all our residents, including young people and adults with special needs, have access to meaningful opportunities for personal growth. Café West exemplifies our commitment to providing a welcoming, nurturing environment where citizens can thrive, develop transferable skills, and contribute to the local workforce. Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community for all.”
