The Perinatal Task Force is a collaborative effort between local government and community organizations and individuals that is dedicated to addressing issues faced by individuals in the perinatal period. The Task Force is committed to recognizing and providing solutions to the barriers that affect people during the perinatal period, such as supporting breastfeeding, providing Medicaid education, addressing perinatal mood disorders, and providing resources to pregnant people who use drugs.
Everyone is welcome to join the Perinatal Task Force! We are always looking for individuals with lived experience and organizations with an interest in supporting people in the perinatal period. We believe everyone can help impact the lives of Cumberland County residents for the better.
